During the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Miami Brazilian bombshell Adriana De Moura spilled the beans about her ex-husband and reveals that she discovered he was having an affair and was common law married to a 17-year-old woman via a phone call. The other ladies seemed stunned by the reveal but if they had the WHOLE story they might have fallen on their South Beach backsides!
In a story broke by Star, legal papers from Adriana’s attempt to regain custody of her son from telecommunications executive Roberto Sidi show a much more horrifying and violent version than the one she shared with the other Miami Housewives. In these papers filed by Adriana (45) she claimed that following an argument in December 2006 Roberto dragged her into a bedroom, ripped off her clothes and threatened her repeatedly by stating he was going to kill her. Then, according to Adriana’s statement, Mr. Sidi choked her into submission and raped her while their very young son Alex was asleep in the room next door.
In the article Star identified this exact Facebook photo* attributed to a Roberto Sidi from Miami Beach, FL as Adriana’s ex husband:
The two had been divorced since 2001 but had reconciled and were living in Florida after having moved there from Texas in 2006. Sidi denied all of Adriana’s claims in his own court paper filings but agreed in 2008 to return primary custody of young Alex to his mother. When contacted by Star Adriana stated:
“The court papers speak for themselves. Whatever I went through in my marriage and afterwords, I said enough on the show. I don’t want to relive any more of it for my son’s sake.”
