I thought he was trying to conceal his identity because the monkeys may come after him for revealing their secrets, but at the end his risks his own personal safety by giving us a glimpse of parts his face while he closes it with this zen-like line: “My whole adult life I never knew the right way to peel a banana. And now you do too.”
