MUG SHOTS Men fake “You Just Got Robbed” reality show to poorly commit robbery
The two men you see above, 21-year-old Randall Smith and 18-year-old Artie Goodwine, were arrested after they faked a reality show to rob employees of a pizza restaurant in Indiana, Pennsylvania (That’s not a typo it’s a city called Indiana in Pennsylvania).
Early last Sunday morning two employees of Fox’s Pizza were standing on the street because of a fire alarm. This was when they were approached by the two young men you see above who tried to fake their crime with the guise of reality TV. One of the victims, who chose to remain anonymous said:
“The one male put us both in a headlock and said, ‘You’re gonna be on a reality show TV show called “You Just Got Robbed.”‘ The other started recording the incident.”
Sadly in this line of work You Just Got Robbed isn’t the worst concept for a reality show I’ve heard, it’s not even close. Here’s a local report filed by CBS Pittsburgh:
If you missed the clip one of the victim’s of the crime, Austin Harnish, said:
“The guy that was filming came up to me and grabbed me by the throat. I was like, ‘Yep, there’s my wallet. You can have whatever’s in it. There’s $20 bucks.’ At first I thought it was a joke. It got real, real, real quick.”
To clarify what Austin was saying, (and may I add he’s one of my favorite random interviewed by a local newscast dudes ever) is that the unreal reality show really got real, real, real quick for real.
Smith and Goodwine were busted by an off-duty police officer who had just seen the two get thrown out of a bar and reacted as the robbery occurred.
Since everyone’s pitching reality shows I got one. I call it, “You Just Got Arrested For Being Morons.” The show will feature the silly hijinks of two petty criminals named Randall Smith and Artie Goodwine!
