Meet Morris “Moe” Prigoff of Storage Wars Texas – Photos, videos, and bio

Storage Wars Texas Moe Prigoff

A&E has expanded its popular Storage Wars series into the Lone Star State with an all new cast of Dallas area bidders trying to turn the contents of abandoned storage units into a profit. Though it’s impossible to replicate the lovably quirky rock star collector Barry Weiss from the original series, A&E did find another off-the-wall eccentric for Storage Wars Texas in the form of the garishly garbed podiatrist Dr. Morris “Moe” Prigoff.

Yes you read that right, Moe is a podiatrist (or foot doctor to you and me). And when I say “is,” that’s exactly what I mean, because by all accounts Dr. Morris Prigoff is still doing his foot doctorin’ at Oak Cliff Podiatry Centre and North Dallas Podiatry Centre. Not a bad fallback gig, huh?

In addition to his medical background (more on that in a minute), Moe has also been a furniture collector for more than 30 years, and a reseller for more than a decade. He currently owns “River Regency Modern,” an antique furniture and art store located at 1500 Riverfront Blvd in Dallas. Here is a sampling of some of the fantastic finds Moe has for sale at “the shop:”

And here’s a video tour of Moe’s store “River Regency Modern:”

Moe’s rather elevated tastes and high end retail shop make him a different buyer than the rest of the Storage Wars Texas crew in that he is rarely looking for quantity, only quality. But don’t think for one second this long lost Marx Brother is snooty! Unlike his Yankee compatriot, Victor Rjesnjansky, Moe has a wonderfully charming and charismatic personality that, when combined with his bizarre fashion sense, makes him downright lovable and almost unanimously the fan favorite on the show.

There isn’t much information online about Moe’s personal life, although marriagesintexas.com lists two marriages for him. One was in 1988 to a Nancy M. Larson and the other was in 2002 to a Michela Y Sanchez, who was 43 years old at the time. (Moe was 60 then, according to the site)

The information jibes with the fact that there is a Michela Sanchez-Prigoff who runs Beyond Beauty Esthetics in Dallas. Here’s a video of her doing something I don’t understand to a woman’s face:

Michela Progoff’s “About Me” from the Beyond Beauty Esthetics web site:

Michela Sanchez- Prigoff, is a licensed aesthetician and licensed massage therapist in her native State of Texas. She is also a graduate of the University of Texas Arlington campus and loves the body, mind, spirit concept. Her prior experiences & certifications in the Wellness field in city, federal & private agencies, allowed her to see the importance of skincare education. She has enjoyed showing young women how to start a skin care regime so that those habits can carry over into adulthood.

“Your are in control of what you put in your mouth and what you put on your skin and how you care for all the systems in your body to achieve optimal health and beauty. Join me in the quest to get YOU towards achieving good skin and body habits that will benefit you throughout your entire life.” ~ Michela
