Lady Gaga announces Born This Way Ball tour dates, reveals poster and stage set design sketch
Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball Tour was one of the most elaborate, entertaining, and successful concert tours in the history of our planet. LG announced earlier this week the follow up to the Monster Ball would be called (appropriately enough) the Born This Way Ball, and today she shared the first 11 dates on the tour!
Here they are:
April 27 – Seoul, South Korea (Olympic Stadium)
May 02 – Hong Kong, China (Asia World Arena)
May 10 – Tokyo, Japan (Saitama Super Arena)
May 28 – Singapore (Indoor Stadium)
June 07 – Auckland, New Zealand (Vector Arena)
June 13 – Brisbane, Australia (Brisbane Entertainment Centre)
June 20 – Sydney, Australia (Allphones Arena)
June 21 – Sydney, Australia (Allphones Arena)
June 27 – Melbourne, Australia (Rod Laver Arena)
June 28 – Melbourne, Australia (Rod Laver Arena)
July 07 – Perth, Australia (Burswood Dome)
Preceding the announcements of the 11 tour dates above, Lady Gaga revealed some more details about the Born This Way Ball tour by tweeting, “The Born This Way Ball will perform 110 shows around the world. The opening dates are out today, with more announcements to ensue.”
Last night she shared the Monster Ball Tour Poster (at the top of this post – click to enlarge) and yesterday she shared this sketch of what the set is going to look like on stage:
