Kelly Osbourne to have tattoos removed

In further proof that Kelly Osbourne is maturing right in front of our eyes, she has announced that she will begin the process of having many of her tattoos removed.

The reality star and daughter of heavy metal god Ozzy Osbourne first burst onto the American scene with MTV’s show The Osbournes that explored her family’s wonderfully strange life. She has ventured out from those humble beginnings to take a turn on Dancing With the Stars, become a fashion designer, singer, and actor among other things.

Kelly isn’t a lady to live with many regrets but she is rethinking all the ink she’s had done through the years.  In her weekly column for Britain’s Closer magazine she expressed these regrets and her intent to do something about it:

“Some still have special meaning, like the matching ones my brother Jack and I have of each other’s names, but I now feel like some were a mistake. They covered a few of them with make-up last week for a scene in my new film Should’ve Been Romeo – and I can’t say I missed them. I want to get rid of the keyboard on my forearm – I can’t even play the piano. And I don’t like the heart and bones on my wrist either.  I met with my dermatologist and I’ll start the laser treatment as soon as I have time. I’m not looking forward to the pain but I’ve heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo. I hope so!”

In true alcohol confessional Osbourne fashion the budding star has admitted on previous occasions that a majority of her tattoos were whim decisions made while being drunk.  I think that can be said for approximatel 75% of all tattoos in the world.  I don’t have a problem with her tattoos nor does it bother me if she wants to endure the laser pain to get rid of them.
