Actor Kelsey Grammer is going to be a dad again! It has been confirmed that the 59-year-old actor and his wife, 32-year-old Kayte Walsh, are expecting their second child together. The baby would be Kelsey’s sixth (he also has a grandson) and Kayte’s second, joining the couple’s 19-month-old daughter Faith.
Kelsy and Kayte were photographed together Sunday at the 2014 Vanity Fair Oscar Party (above). Kelsey was beaming and Kayte was glowing in a strapless loose-fitting little black dress. Here’s a profile shot of Kayte’s almost imperceptible baby bump:
Us Weekly initially broke the story, and People later confirmed it. As mentioned above, the baby will complete a six pack for Kelsey, joining Spencer, 30 (who has a two-year-old son named Emmett), Greer, 22, Mason, 12, and Jude, 9, from previous relationships in addition to Faith.
For those who follow Kelsey Grammer closely (The Grammer Police?), the announcement shouldn’t come as too big of a surprise. He suggested more children might be on the way when he spoke with Access Hollywood back in August of 2012. “I think we’ll have at least two more, if not three or four,” Kelsey said about future kids. “I think it’s a great way to live a life.”
Congrats to Kelsey and Kayte! (Do they have a celebrity super couple name yet? I’m thinking Kaylsey? I guess it’s either that or Kelt.)
