Katy Perry says Mick Jagger put the moves on her when she was 18

Katy Perry and Mick Jagger

Mick Jagger may have the moves, but they weren’t enough to win over Katy Perry.

Speaking with Australia’s Nova FM radio station, Katy said the Rolling Stones star hit on her when she sang backup vocals on 2004’s Old Habits Die Hard.

“I actually went to dinner with (Mick) one time and he hit on me when I was 18,” Katy explained of the now 70-year-old. “That was a long time ago, and he’s been very kind.”

When asked by the radio hosts how she turned down the legendary rocker’s advances, Katy said she sacrificed a friend.

“Well you bring a friend and then they do them,” she said of her strategy.

Katy may have lost a friendship in that process, but she and Mick seemed to be on good terms earlier this year when they performed together at Las Vegas’ MGM.

Although this rumor likely wouldn’t harm Mick’s reputation, his team refutes the story.

“Mick Jagger categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry…Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else,” Mick’s rep said in a statement.
