Pretty Little Liars: Is Ezra and Aria’s student/teacher romance sweet or creepy?

I’m a Pretty Little Liars addict, and I got caught up in the Lolita-like tension of Aria’s (now off) romance with her teacher Mr. Fitz. It’s a fictional manifestation of a fantasy that many girls have about a smart, inspiring teacher who’s not that much older than them, and relationships like this do happen in real life, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it’s inappropriate, and possibly illegal.

INTERVIEW Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King talks Season 3B

ABC Family’s breakout hit suspense drama Pretty Little Liars is currently enjoying a break in the middle of its third season and is scheduled to return Tuesday, January 8 at 8/7c with all new “A” suspense, relationship drama, and of course amazing outfits. PHOTO: Pretty Little Liars wins big at Teen Choice Awards

We don’t cover Pretty Little Liars enough on this site, and that’s sad because it’s actually a really good show for what it is: a teen mystery soap. But the acting and scripts are well done, the characters are developed, the styling is terrific, and the mystery element is titillatingly executed. Not only that, but it does delve a little deep into the complexities, and different types, of deception. It’s a guilty pleasure you don’t have to feel tooo guilty about.
