After months of speculation they were close to reconciling, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones seemed to confirm the reports by attending the opening night of a show in New York City. The couple separated in August 2013, but neither filed for legal separation or divorce.

Hollywood super-couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have reportedly separated after nearly 13 years according to the cover story in this week’s People magazine. Douglas, 68, and Zeta-Jones, 43, were last photographed together on April 22 and according to the magazine, they decided to split after he returned from the Cannes Film Festival in May. Since that time they have been photographed separately at events, and most recently Michael Douglas has been seen vacationing on a yacht with the couple’s children off the coast of Sardinia while Zeta-Jones remained at home in New York.
