Caroline Manzo recalls when sister-in-law Jacqueline punched her in the face

Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita may be close these days, but they haven’t always had the best relationship. In fact, Jacqueline even punched Caroline in the face at one point! And you thought table-flipping was as wild as the Real Housewives of New Jersey ladies got..

Although the punch happened several years ago, Teresa brought it up on last night’s episode, and Caroline is not happy about it. In this week’s Bravo blog, Caroline writes, “One thing I want to address is the Jacqueline/Caroline punch in the face comment. As you all know, we’ve discussed this before and neither Jac or I have tried to hide it. What bothers me is the fact that it was brought up again, so many years later.”

She explains, “This happened over ten years ago, shortly after Jac gave birth to CJ. She was suffering from post partum depression and going through a really tough time. I’m insulted and disappointed that T would use Jac’s suffering as a sticking point. There’s nothing funny about post partum depression, shame on her for that.” (It’s possible that Teresa may have been retaliating against Caroline and Jacqueline, who both recently ended their friendships with her.)

Regarding her and Jacqueline’s issues, Caroline reveals: “The bottom line is we forgave and forgot, and we have a wonderful relationship. Yes, we have disagreements from time to time, but it never lasts long. We talk about it and move on, TOGETHER.” We’re guessing the use of capital letters would be used to point out that her and Jacqueline both handled it like adults and are now friends again. Teresa, on the other hand, tries to resolve her issues in other ways and has been less successful.
