AUDIO Listen to the new Black Eyed Peas song “The Time (the dirty bit)”

Will.i.am has leaked a song from Black Eyed Peas’ new album The Beginning, which is set to release November 30.

It starts with a synth, and an (autotuned) Will.i.am and (non-autotuned) Fergie singing the chorus of Dirty Dancing‘s “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” and then broken records into a beat that sounds a lot like “Boom Boom Pow.”

It’s a typical Black Eyed Peas offering, and an overall a fun groove remix of a classic pop song:

The Black-Eyed Peas just released a new music video for their single “The Time (Dirty Bit)” off their album The Beginning which drops next Tuesday, November 30. In the video the Peas introduce the world to a new form of art: Rubik’s Cubism! Dancers and singers are transformed into 3-D pixelations right before your eyes in what has to be considered the music video grandchild of Dire Straits’ digitized “Money For Nothing” from the early ’80s. I have no idea what Fergie was supposed to be during her GRAMMY Awards performance with the Black Eyed Peas, but whatever it is it needs to be a comic book and a movie and a calendar and billboards and Halloween costume… I’m not sure if my attraction to the Fergs in that outfit is because I’m a geek, a fetishist or just a dude, but I strongly suspect it is mostly the latter.

Will.i.am’s $900,000 one-of-a-kind car has been in the headlines lately after TMZ posted a photo of the mysterious vehicle on the back of a flatbed truck at a Lowe’s in Los Angeles and speculated that it belonged to Will.
