Why aren’t Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison on speaking terms?
When Girls Next Door‘s Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison both broke up with Hugh Hefner, those weren’t the only relationships that ended. In her new book, Holly reveals she and Kendra had an epic falling out a few years ago.
In an excerpt from Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny shared by People, Holly said she was willing to accept Kendra as a friend when Hef moved her into the mansion — even though Holly wasn’t impressed by many of Kendra’s actions. (Among other things, Holly said Kendra’s room was a “jump-dump of possessions” and reeked of dog urine from yards away.)
Even after they both broke up with Hef, Holly said she and Kendra were on good terms. So Holly was “hurt and confused” when Kendra said in an interview that she wasn’t friends with Holly or Bridget Marquardt.
“For someone who was all of a sudden trying to act like she was better than Bridget and me, she sure wasn’t above using us for publicity when she needed it,” Holly said.
Holly said she confronted Kendra via text by calling her the “fakest person” she ever met. That only seemed to further enrage Kendra, who responded, “WHO ARE YOU???? I DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU! WE WERE NEVER FRIENDS. IT WAS ALL JUST WORK.”
Holly said she was done after that.
“I deleted her number from my phone,” she said. “Kendra and I haven’t spoken since, and I have to say, I don’t miss her.”
Down the Rabbit Hole will be released on June 23. In it, Holly also talks about contemplating suicide and the other crazy things she experienced while living in the mansion.
