Christa from Small Town Security

AMC unleashed the crew of JJK Security, out of Ringgold, GA, on to the TV landscape in a serious way by giving it the coveted time slot after the season premiere of Breaking Bad. The unquestioned head b in charge of Small Town Security is “The Chief” Joan Koplan. But the lady who seems to try her best to keep all the boys in line is secretary extraordinaire Christa Stephens.

The brief bio from AMC describes Christa this way:

Christa Stephens is the flighty office secretary who spends as much time misspelling words as she does answering the phones. She is quick to remind everyone that her skill set extends beyond reception work (she is a “licensed cosmetologist”), and she is also uniquely capable of managing the complex social dynamic that unfolds daily in the front office at JJK. But underneath those blond highlights is a desire to rise through the ranks at JJK — if only they’d give her the chance to prove herself!

Christa made the following post recently to her Facebook page which kind of sums up her excitement in regards to the show. The all caps thing was all her!

HELLO EVERYONE
SORRY IV NOT BEEN ON HERE IN FOREVER! THANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE SHOW, AND ALL THE COMMENTS ON THE PICS/COMMERICALS!
IT REALLY MEANS A LOT TO ME!!!!!

How about another great old-school pic of Christa Stephens:

She actually flew out recently to L.A. on account of the show and while she was out there she met none other than Lady Gaga. She was pretty stoked about it and after watching the following clip from the Acoustic Cafe in Ringgold you’ll understand her musical ties. It’s an open mic night and Christa gives her best on The Wreckers’ “Leave the Pieces” with the help of some local musicians:

Well if I find myself in Ringgold and need some security I know who to call and who I’ll hope will answer the phone. Time for a parting shot of Christa Stephens from Small Town Security:

Christa told the Atlanta Journal Constitutional:

“I like being in the limelight with her. I like that they call it a docudrama. Nothing is set up. The only time something is re-filmed is if the camera messes up or runs out of tape. It’s 100% authentic. We like to play around a lot but when there’s work, we get serious.”
