REPORT Anne Hathaway exposes diva demands, sends breakfast back FOUR times
Anne Hathaway took a break from promoting her new film, The Intern, to shoot a Japanese commercial. While on set, the Academy Award winning actress ordered breakfast: a poached egg, english muffin, and an avocado. Sounds easy enough, right?
Not according to Anne.
The 32-year-old wasn’t happy with her eggs and sent them back— four times!
TMZ reported that Anne’s diva demands made it nearly impossible for the on-site catering crew to make her happy. She insisted there was a problem each time her breakfast was made:
“1st try: Poached egg too runny.
2nd try: English muffin was cold because it sat while egg #2 was being poached.
3rd try: Egg #2 cold because it sat while chef toasted muffin #2.
4th try: Egg, muffin and avocado were perfect, but it took so long she decided she was in the mood for a fried egg.”
I get it. You’re a movie star. You want things exactly the way you want them, but Anne, haven’t you seen the movie Waiting?
This isn’t the first time Anne has made headlines for diva-like behavior.
Back in 2008, OK magazine reported that people were complaining about her explicit demands for coffee and scrambled eggs. A few years later, In Touch reported that Anne’s team made a specific request prior to a charity event that no one approach her or attempt to talk her, a claim her PR team later denied.
Do you think Anne is justified in sending back her food until it’s “right” or should she just shut up and eat her eggs?
