Jean-Charles de Castelbajac shirt made of sunglasses

Never one to shy away from mixing a little fun with fashion, designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac featured a shirt made entirely of sunglasses during his spring-summer 2011 ready-to wear collection presentation in Paris, France on October 5, 2010.

(I couldn’t decide on the theme song for this post so you can choose from Corey Hart above or John Conlee below – I don’t recommend playing them both at the same time, though.)

The sunglasstastic outfit boasts more than 60 pairs of rose colored Ray-Banesque shades, and one yellow pair just above the naval for some reason. Castelbajac paired the shades top with a pair of olive drab military-inspired cargo shorts that did a good job of not drawing attention away from the real star of the look. In my opinion I think he should have continued the sunglasses and made a short dress with perhaps a different color for the “skirt” portion with some sort of sheer fabric underneath. (I’ve watched over 75% of all the Project Runway episodes ever so I know what I’m talking about!)

I’m been studying these images for hours and I still can’t tell if they’re slightly NSFW or not. Maybe the model is wearing some of those Megan Fox Jennifer’s Body nude patches? I’ll keep looking and let you know if I find anything.
