Last week it was revealed via a promoter that George Zimmerman had signed on to fight in a celebrity boxing match for charity.
Folks started lining up to get a chance to possibly kick George’s arse including The Game. Damon Feldman is the man doing the promoting and he’s been encouraging requests from celebrities to fight George via Twitter.
Zimmerman revealed to Radar that the idea was his:
“It was my idea. Prior to the incident I was actually going to the gym for weight loss and doing boxing-type training for weight loss and a mutual friend put me in contact with Damon and provided me with an opportunity and motivation to get back in shape and continue with my weight loss goals and also be able to help a charity out.”
According to TMZ, Zimmerman would welcome the opportunity to throw down with Kanye West. George’s desire to go toe to toe with Yeezus stems from the feeling that the self-proclaimed genius needs to be taught a lesson for attacking “defenseless people.”
Feldman added that if West is willing to agree to the fight that he would move the match to Los Angeles.
