Mother recorded abuse of 10-month-old daughter and sent videos to the father

Kellie Park (20) of West Haven, Connecticut is accused of abusing and tormenting her 10-month-old daughter and recording video of the incidents.

Records from the court show that Park took 7 videos of the horrific acts against her defenseless baby girl and proceeded to send this footage to her ex-boyfriend and father of the child via text messages. The father contacted the police.

Police said that in one of the videos Park is seen kicking a baby gate on top of the crying baby causing her to fall and then stated:

“Don’t you get it? Your father doesn’t care so guess what, I’m not gonna care.”

In a separate clip Park is seen tossing food on her daughter and then shaking a portable crib with such force it caused the little girl to fall out.

In some particularly upsetting text messages, she sent 55 in total, Park wrote to the father, “I’ll break her face…I’ll beat her face in” and “I love abusing this kid.”

Park has another 2-year-old child.

The police immediately took the baby into custody. She was placed under the supervision of the Department of Children and Families in Hartford, Connecticut and currently is being taken care of by Park’s mother who also looks after the 2-year-old. The grandmother believes that her daughter is mentally ill and told KSDK, “I’m not talking to anybody. My job is to take care of my grandchildren and that’s it.”

The 20-year-old mother-of-two was arrested on June 20 and charged with third-degree assault, cruelty to persons, risk of injury and threatening. She’s still in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail. Her next scheduled court appearance is July 11.

  Thank god the baby was taken from that sick woman, and I pray the grandmother does not allow her daughter.to see the child. Keep her in jail where she belongs. Now I say the cousin is sicker then she is for agreeing with what that sicko did to her baby girl. Rot in hell!

No matter the problems/issues the “mother” had with the father, no child should ever be treated like that. I don’t care if is mentally ill or not. If she is that mentally ill, the children should both go somewhere that a non-mentally ill family can love them and care for them they way they deserve.

  Go after the father for what? Obviously someone reported these texts to the police and I would guess it was him. The article says nothing about the father. For all we know, he may have been reporting this all along and it just took this long for the police or DHS to do something about it. It seems apparent to me that this woman was abusing her child at least in part to get back at the father for something, so I doubt he was any type of accomplice.

    I read the article and in it he says that he went into the store in the AM and when he came out he had 50+ text messages that he didn’t open until he got home. As soon as he opened them and seen them he showed HIS dad and his dad called the cops. There were 8 videos, 7 were her abusing the little girl and the 8 was her “cutting her wrists” although there was no blood.
    
    HER mother was apparently there during the “suicide attempt” or whatever and had already called somebody. By the time the cops got there she was in a hospital being evaluated (along with her daughter, who was also being checked out).
    
    So my problem with the whole thing is, why give the baby to the maternal grandmother? She watched her daughter act like she was going to slit her wrists AND video taped it and she waited until what, she was done, to call? Not to mention the wrist slicing video was like number 5 or 6. Which means there were 2-3 videos AFTER that of her abusing the little girl.
    
    I’d much rather that baby be with the FATHER or PATERNAL grandparents than with the grandma that watched this sh*t happen.

This woman deserves to never reproduce again or ever see her children again. How you could do that to your own flesh and blood is beyond me! I am a mother and could NEVER EVER do that to my children. Makes me sick to my stomach. She is disgusting!

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people say “FREE (Insert criminal’s name here)”. It’s beyond stupid and just shows your stupidity for saying it.
Anyway, this woman is disgusting. And like other people said, why the HELL did it take the father so damn long to say anything? He deserves to rot in a cell just as much as her.

This is so sicking I have a 12 month old daughter and I could never imagine allowing someone and me myself doing anything like this to her. I agree somewhat with what some of you are saying about the father if I was in his situation I would have went to get my child rather then sitting back and waiting for police. And for her family to support her and act like nothing happened is just as bad those children need to be far from all of them. What a trash I hope someone giver her the beating of her life in jail see if she is still as tough as she acts.

I’m from CT and heard about this pos mother. What they fail to tell you in this article is that the father was the one who contacted the police.

She abused her kid because she was mad at her baby daddy cuz he left her. Time to grow up little girl. I hope the kids dad is a better parent then you and gets full custody. I have 3 kids and I can’t even imagine doing to them what she did to her daughter, possibly daughters. Pathetic!

UGH! Imagine my surprise when I followed a link here to read another story and I saw this! I am from CT and this POS dirtbag lives down the street from me and my kids know her..they grew up with her and they said she is friggin nuts! Her mother was not there while she was taking videos and sending texts. This article is missing alot of information but the children are safe, healthy and the mother is rotting in jail where she should be and I hope they will keep her locked up for a long long time!

OMG, this is awful, and while mental illness doesn’t make it ok, it seems like a “mother” has to be ill to do this to their own child. She obviously is not fit to parent, and the child probably would be best off with family of the paternal side so they can be completely cut off from any interaction now and in the future with the mother. So sick.
