Astronauts like Canadian Chris Hadfield can often find themselves stuck in outer space with a lot of free-floating time on their hands. For the past 5 months Chris has been commander of Expedition 35 aboard the International Space Station.
On Sunday, he was set to hand over the controls to Pavel Vinogradov but before doing so, he shared the following awesome cover of David Bowie’s 1969 classic “Space Oddity” with the world.
That would even make Ziggy Stardust proud!
Ground control should be on the ready for Hadfield and fellow astronaut Thomas Marshburn’s return to Earth expected today.
