Technically, Christine Brown, the third wife of Kody Brown on TLC’s Sister Wives, is correct when she proudly tells the camera that toasters kill more people than sharks.
But that doesn’t mean she isn’t crazy for banning toasters from her home. Toasters only kill about 200 in the entire world per yer versus 8 or 9 shark deaths. World population right now is 6.9 billion, so this isn’t a real threat.
Just don’t try to pry your bread out of the toaster with a metal knife, and you’ll be fine.
