Reports continue to pour in on why the filming of Bachelor In Paradise was abruptly suspended, with no word on when, and if, it will continue.

Here’s where we’re at on what’s being reported:

Amy Kaufamn, a writer with the Los Angeles Times who has reliable connections with the show, tweeted last night about an alleged sexual encounter between contestants DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios that led to the halt:

People, in a Monday morning post questioning whether or not Olympios was too drunk to consent, quoted a source that stated, “The show absolutely values the primacy of consent, and this instance it appears as though conduct allegedly occurred without the proper consent having been given.”

Another source, this time an unnamed contestant, added, “People are pissed, and not just at DeMario. We’re pissed that this whole thing happened. They could have seen that she was drinking too much and that he was taking advantage. They could have stopped this before it got this far. But they decided to let it go, and let it happen, and see what happened? So, I’m angry at the show, and everyone else is too.”

TMZ gave Jackson’s version of events, as told by people he spoke with. They said that on the first day of production Demario and Corinne were told by producers that one of the story lines for the show would be the two of them, notorious as “villains” during their respective appearances on the parent shows, hooking up.

They met at a bar near the show’s location in Mexico, and, with cameras rolling, DeMario says that Corinne suggested the pair head to the pool. Then, according to Jackson, “They took off their clothes, started making out and ‘rubbing, touching and fingering.’ He says she put her genitals in his face and he began licking, but we’re told this allegation is a big point of contention and others disagree with his account. He says he was not able to engage in intercourse because of the alcohol.”

A source with E! stated that DeMario and Corrine have been in contact since the alleged tryst. “DeMario was trying to reach Corinne via email, Instagram and Facebook for a few days,” the source explained. “Finally, [he] got a hold of her, they exchanged numbers and they’ve been talking. They are both speaking and on good terms.”

TMZ reports that the producer in question filed a formal complaint; DeMario and Corinne were then sent home; and a couple of days later production was stopped entirely and the rest of the cast was sent packing.
