The plot of I Married a Witch is pretty crazy. Jennifer (Veronica Lake) and her dad are witches who are burned at the stake by Purtian Jonathan Wooley. In revenge Jennifer and her father, who exist as wisps of smoke, curse Wooley and all his male heirs. Much later Jennifer convinces her father to give her a physical body so she can seduce the latest Wooley, and many hijinks ensue.
