Is Russian Maria Verchenova the sexiest golfer alive?

There is just something about female Russian athletes, and that something is consistent hotness!  The latest smoking sports babe from Russia is Maria Verchenova, a professional golfer that currently plays on the Ladies European Tour.  She hasn’t won much but with legs like that who cares right?

According to her official player page of the Ladies European Tour Maria has participated in 47 tournaments with no victories and only two top ten finishes.  Her career earning since becoming pro back in 2006 is only 72,966.17 (euros).  She was born on March 27th, 1986 in Moscow, Russia where she still resides and her interests include dancing and reading books.

And now on to the important stuff! Here are a number of great photos of Maria taken from various tournaments and courses across Europe:

Maria had the following to say about idolizing fellow smoking Russian athlete Maria Sharapova and her penchant for spicing things up fashion wise on the golf course.

“I am looking at Maria Sharapova, not because of the way she looks but because of the way she plays, I think Russian women are strong mentally. They are trying really hard and they are achieving things.”

“I always like to bring something extra special to the golf course, so if I’m wearing sexier, more stylish stuff like a shorter skirt or a nice tennis-style dress and people notice then great. ”

There was no comment in regards to her comfort with shafts, preferred balls, putting from the rough, getting up and in, working on her stroke or Tiger Woods.
