Kylie Jenner’s been catching a lot of flak for throwing her best friend Anastasia Karanikolaou a birthday party styled after The Handmaid’s Tale, the increasingly relatable dystopian novel / TV show in which most women are infertile and the remaining fertile ones are kept as sex slaves so they can bear children for their rapist-superiors. But lost in all the hubbub over Kylie’s Handmaid’s Tale birthday party was her on-brand follow-up parties, which almost look like palate cleansers by comparison.
