Henry was injured December 16 after falling out of the bed of a moving truck after a domestic dispute with his fiancee Loleini Tonga, who was driving the truck. After sustaining dire injuries, Chris Henry was unable to recover and passed away December 17. He was only 26 years old. The cause for the domestic fight is unknown, but TMZ reported previous domestic spats between the couple over wedding costs.

Chris Henry was piecing his life together after years of problems with drugs, money, and the law. He was cut from the Bengals in 2008 for his arrest record, five times in 28 months, but was asked back after he made efforts to change his ways. He credited his successful new start to Loleini Tonga’s influence in his life. They had three children together. Chris was cut from the Bengals in April 2008 after getting arrested five times in 28 months.
