The next TLC block party could get really interesting if the casts of The Little Couple or Little People, Big World are asked to stand by their newest co-network stars, the women of My Giant Life.

Here’s a bit more about the new show from TLC:

Viewers step into the shoes of women who are seemingly too tall and lofty for the average-sized world, standing at six feet six inches and above. They are faced with challenges every day – some because their extreme height makes performing seemingly mundane tasks like loading the dishwasher and getting into a car extremely difficult and others because the eyes of society are not as friendly to women of their stature. As a young lady that is a foot taller than the average female, life is anything but easy! From dating difficulties to simply going to the grocery store without stares, the stories in each episode get right to the heart of what it means to live life blessed with an extra foot or more.

One of the stars of the five-part series is Lindsay Kay Hayward, who holds the Guinness World Record for Tallest Actress in a Leading Role for her work in 2013’s R100. Before getting into acting, the 6’9″ California native was a professional wrestler who went by the names Isis the Amazon or Giant Isis.

Speaking to The Daily Mail in 2010, Lindsay said she topped six feet by the time she was nine years old and achieved her full height by the age of thirteen.

“You’d think my height would stop people teasing me but it didn’t,” she said, explaining her unhappiness was fueled by problems at home. “Everywhere I went people were staring. I didn’t know how to deal with that when I was young.”

She left home after high school and began finding work as a model. That, she said, helped her learn to accept herself. She said, “I started working out and I realised that what I have is a gift.”

That doesn’t make day-to-day life much easier: In a teaser for My Giant Life, Lindsay struggles to sit comfortably on the plane. (That’s a challenge for most of us, so I can only imagine what it’s like at six-nine!)

Lindsay is joined on the show by professional volleyball players Colleen Smith (6’6″) and Haleigh Hampton (6’7″), as well as high-school student Nancy Mulkey (6’9″).

My Giant Life premieres on TLC on Tuesday, July 14 at 10/9c.
