According to police, Adam Trudeau was struck by a car on Route 24 at approximately 1:15AM by Shane Wilson, 20, of Norton, MA. Adam was apparently on foot in the center lane of oncoming traffic when he was hit by Wilson, who reportedly stopped before then leaving the scene.

Wilson later called police after seeing a news story about Adam’s death and said he knew that he had hit something in the road, but that he thought it was a deer. He was issued a citation by State Police on a charge of leaving the scene after causing personal injury resulting in death. He was scheduled for an appearance in Quincy District Court, but I could find no record of what happened.

It is unclear why Adam was standing in the middle of the busy highway, but a preliminary investigation suggested he had exited his own vehicle prior to the incident.

Here is a video news report on the accident filed the same day, followed by a couple links to local news stories:

Adam Trudeau’s family set up a Facebook memorial page for him and in the “About” section it is revealed Adam had been in a serious car accident before in 2003:

Adam Thomas Trudeau of Braintree, MA
Biography
May 7, 1983 to July 29, 2012

Adam survived a horrific auto accident in 2003, having survived a tramatic brain injury while others passed. Adam learned to breathe on his own, eat, talk, walk after intense theraputic rehab with his Mother Suzan Trudeau (Morgida) by his side and sister Noelle.

Adam loved life, people, most of all he Loved the Lord and had a personal relationship with God. He attended church and even watched the Sunday services on TV with his Mother prior to going to church in person. When he was home, he would get crackers in lieu of holy wafers and grape juice in lieu of wine as he went thru the ‘body of christ’ and “blood of christ’ motions respectfully.

Adam walked his purpose and proved to many to go on get on get up and prevail. Although he had his tougher days, Adams determination and fight to grow forward prevailed God was his rock as was his Mother and family.

So proud of his baby sister Noelle, to him, she was Hollywood and the most beautiful girl anywhere.

HIs Italian heritage made him so proud.

He donted over 10 tatoos and 6 of them were of his Christian faith.

Adam being the vain young debonaire man, loved tanning, smiling with his beautiful smile, and working out and kept fit as well as Golfed and was very proud of his fathers Golf ability whom taught Adam as a young boy.

There will be several projects Adams family will announce to continue Adams legacy and to help others moving forward from support groups, school scollaship and more.

Thank you for reading about our amazing Adam, we miss him so much. PLease pray for peace, strength and guidance for his family and friends as we/they go through this heart wrenching mourning process.

God BLess you all.

After Adam’s death, Noelle Trudea moved back in with her mother Suzan Trudeau, and because of that, Noelle is “finding it difficult to spread her wings and move on with her life,” according to her A&E bio.
