1st Scream Queens teaser video from American Horror Story and Glee creators
American Horror Story creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk and their Glee co-creator Ian Brennan aren’t scheduled to begin filming on their much-anticipated new horror-comedy series Scream Queens until April, but they just couldn’t resist putting out a little something something for fans on Friday the 13th.
Check out the first teaser video for Scream Queens featuring an attractive young lady enjoying some troublegum:
Here’s co-creator Ryan Murphy’s tweet:

In case you missed it, Scream Queens is slated to premiere in August, 2015, and features a stellar cast that includes (so far) Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis as lead regulars with Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello, Keke Palmer and Abigail Breslin as main cast members. Adding some pop (that’s a music and gum reference!) will be Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas, who will both have recurring roles in the first season.
Show star Emma Roberts retweeted the teaser, but not until after she had done some Twit-tease of her own:
Happy Friday the 13th ! I have a special surprise for you guys today!

Emma’s soon-to-be co-stars Lea Michelle and Abigail Breslin also got in on the Scream Queen fun, and American Horror Story‘s Sarah Paulsen shared her excitement too:
Just a little FRIDAY the 13th treat…. #ScreamQueens

We don’t know a lot about the plot yet, but it will reportedly take place on a college campus during a string of murders. Damn this sounds fun! Like a mash up between Glee and American Horror Story: Coven! And if Fox is still casting, I have a couple great suggestions for teachers. I’ll even stick with the bubble blowin’ theme…
Think Tina Fey in Mean Girls. 🙂
