Kristen Bell, When In Rome, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, made some headlines a few days ago when she posted the above photo via Twitter along with the following tweet:
The reason that this little tweet stood out originally is the fact that actor Dax Shepard, Idiocracy, Baby Mama, isn’t Bell’s husband but merely her fiancee. This little technicality had people blowing Miss Bell up with tweets asking if the two had secretly got married etc.
Bell took it all in stride and later explained herself with another tweet:
Okay. So maybe folks got a little carried away but the real story behind all of this is the fact that America Idol front-runner Pia Toscano is starring in her very first photo bomb! She’s not in the room where the photo was taken yet appears and it isn’t, by the strictest of photo bomb definitions, unintentional but because of the accidental husband drop Pia became lost in the shuffle thus creating a Backdoor Twitter Intentional Quasi Photo Bomb.
The first kink in Pia’s armor came last week as fans and judges began to request that she extend her range and sing something other than a ballad. It should be interesting to see if she responds with an alternate but until then we should all appreciate the fact that she created an entirely new pop culture phenomenon.

This Backdoor Twitter Intentional Quasi Photo Bomb may be like Halley’s Comet and happen only once every 75 years or so. I suggest we all soak in the random beauty for a moment and then make like Dax and start voting for Pia again!
