Worst red carpet pose ever? Konnie Huq at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Premiere

Konnie Huq at the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere

British television presenter Konnie Huq looked to be the victim of death fashion eaters at last night’s premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One! The usually smoking hot brunette was a smoking hot mess as she struck a very unpleasant pose in an unfortunate black and mustard-trimmed dress that looks like something Elaine Benes would buy after seeing it in a skinny mirror.

She looks as though she’s wearing high heels for the very first time and about to fall over forward! And what are those disco banana things on her feet?!? and appears to be close to falling over forward. It doesn’t help that she’s wearing a clearly visible microphone pack underneath the top! Man, oh man. This is downright… unfortunate.

The dress looked a little better from the front, but not much:

Sadly, this isn’t the first red carpet misstep for Miss Huq who sported this low-riding pair of billowing pantaloons to the premiere of It’s a Wonderful Afterlife in April:

Here’s Konnie as a Portugese Woman of War jellyfish at the UK premiere of Australia in December of 2008:

And then there was this frumpy housemaiden look at the MOBO Awards in 2008:

I think the sponsor in the background (lastminute.com) sums up this look from the London Restaurant Week launch party in 2008:

I’ll let you insert your own ’80s music video reference for her appearance at the Skymag launch party in 2007:

In Konnie’s defense I’d like to offer up some not-so-unfortunate photos of the host of such shows as The Xtra Factor and The Blue Peter. The first one if from the 2009 Revolutionary Road premiere in London and features Konnie in a rare form-fitting (and very flattering!) look:

Here’s another pleasant number from the 2009 Pride of Britain Awards:

This next dress from the afterparty following the UK premiere of Spider-Man 3 may get unfortunate as you scroll down, but luckily there’s no need to look any further:
