As we reported on Friday, comedian Doug Stanhope’s girlfriend Bingo went into a coma last week after suffering a seizure the day before her 40th birthday party. (The seizure occurred after Bingo had reportedly done a lot of cocaine and went without sleep for several days in order to prepare for the birthday party — you can read a complete recap of what happened here.)
Since our previous post, Doug has been sharing additional updates on Bingo’s condition, most all of which seems extremely positive, including Bingo regaining consciousness. Thanks for all the people asking where to send things but although things are better, it’s far from over. Still in ICU so no flowers can get in and anything else, she isnt ready to recognize or appreciate. And as for visitors, we’ll wait until she knows ahead of time when she’s gonna poop and pee!
