Lisa Hochstein is speaking out in the defense of her sometimes misunderstood Real Housewives of Miami co-star, Karent Sierra. During the last couple of episodes, Karent has come off to some of the ‘Wives as fame hungry, but Lisa doesn’t think that’s the case and offers up loads of praise for her friend.
“She’s one of the sweetest people I know,” Lisa told Celebuzz in a new interview. “Upon meeting her for the very first time, I instantly connected with her. I thought she had a great personality. She’s very successful. She’s bright and bubbly, and that can rub people the wrong way sometimes.”
“She’s very energetic. Some people might have a problem with that, obviously, as you see on the show,” Lisa added. “I think she’s great. She’s just one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She’s genuine, and she really doesn’t mean any harm to anybody.”
Lisa also weighed in on Karent’s relationship with Latin soap star Rodolfo Jimenez which has also been brought into question after a few text messages from Rodolfo to co-star Ana Quincoces were exposed.
“They seem really in love,” she said. “They just have a normal relationship. I don’t know why somebody would go that far and have a fake relationship. I think that’s strange. Why would anybody do that? As far as the text messages, I wasn’t there. I didn’t know the situation. That could have been anything.”
Lisa, who just celebrated her third wedding anniversary with husband Lenny, has done her best to stay out of the drama and tension on the show. She’d rather just have a good time with her house guest Marta Krupa who she says is “the little sister I never had.”
Real Housewives of Miami airs every Thursday on Bravo at 9/8c.
