On July 11th ABC Family will be premiering Beverly Hills Nannies, “a docu-series, following the lives of a group of nannies working for families in the most exclusive zip code in the country.”
The identities of the 9 nannies have been revealed and whoever did the casting has a fine appreciation for how much eye candy can assist in ratings. These are some seriously lovely women and men (mannies) that will be featured.
For three of the ladies (I can’t imagine a Beverly Hills housewife would actually hire said women to be around their husbands for any length of time) I was able to round up bikini photos. Hey, you gotta focus on what’s important right? I mean some 90210 couple may be vetting these gals and how they present themselves in swimwear could be a sticking point!
Hometown: Orange County, California
Shayla Quinn moved to Los Angeles as an aspiring recording artist. While pursuing her career goals, she fell into being a nanny after covering for a friend one night. It went so well that she decided to make it a more permanent commitment given the great flexibility that the job provides. Shayla loves to connect and bond with the children she watches. While she is well on her way to achieving her goals, she never slacks on the job as she has always been a stickler for manners and respect.
Hometown: Fremont, California
How she got into the Nanny business: I used to manage a fitness studio and all of the mothers would ask me to babysit.
Kristin’s best Nanny experience/story: Being sung lullabies at nighttime by a four year-old making up words to love songs about me while playing his guitar.
Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio *She’s the one on the right
Has she ever been a Nanny for a celebrity: Almost! I was top choice for Brooke Mueller and Charlie Sheen to be their live-in weekend nanny for their two year-old twins – right at the exact time of all the horrible press. I was to live in Brooke’s house, and I would have had to sleep in the twins’ room as they woke up through the night and help with potty training them. I got all the way to the end UNTIL Brooke requested a photo of me. Once the photo was sent Brooke responded – “Please only send me old nannies.” It’s probably a blessing in disguise.
Best Nanny experience/story: One time, I took off one month from my nanny job, and I was still paid!
How did I know Charlie Sheen would end up in this post somehow? Make sure to tune in on July 11th to see how these professionals handle the difficult combination of toddler mayhem and extremely wealthy parents.
