PHOTOS Paul Giamatti as the Rhino for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is just too amazing
Photos from the sets of films currently in production are a dime a dozen, but the ones coming out from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 of Paul Giamatti as villain the Rhino are priceless!
I love me some Giamatti, especially his roles in American Splendor and Sideways, but when I first caught wind that he was cast as Stan Lee and artist John Romita, Sr.’s creation, Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich, I wasn’t so sure. After seeing these pics, I’m still not convinced but they do make me laugh right out loud.
Plot details for The Amazing-Spider-Man 2 have been kept close to the costume, so it’s a mystery as to how the Rhino fits into this latest cinematic chapter. What is known is that he’s just one of several villains that will be coming after Spidey in the sequel, as Jamie Foxx is set as bad guy Max Dillon/Electro while Chris Cooper joins as Norman Osborn, who will become the Green Goblin at some point.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set for a May 2nd, 2014 release. By that time, Giamatti as Sytsevich will already be an internet legend…
