Every time that I think that PETA has jumped the shark with their provocative ad campaigns they go and get a dead sexy woman like 40-year-old Taraji P. Henson to get naked! Henson has it going on and on in this spot that is part of the animal right’s, “Fur? I’d Rather Go Naked” campaign.
For the ad Miss Taraji says:
“I don’t think a living being should suffer for the sake of fashion, period. End of story.” “You don’t have to kill an animal just because you want to be hot and fly. And I really stand by that.”
Henson starred in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in which she received an Oscar nomination in the “Best Supporting Actress” category for her role as Queenie. As a tribute to Taraji convincing us all to ditch the fur here’s Chuck Berry’s song “Little Queenie.”
“Looking like the model on the cover of a magazine!” Henson’s campaign will debut at PETA’s New York Fashion Week Bash on Feb. 10, and the ad will also appear on a billboard in L.A.
