Meet Lake Shore’s “The Lebanese” Salem Moussallam
Our friends north of the border are set to launch their own version of Jersey Shore called Lake Shore. The YouTube campaign for the show featuring promos and audition reels has drummed up a tremendous amount of interest that has culminated with the announcement of the final 8 that will comprise the cast of the show.
One of the 8 cast members is 24-year-old Salem Moussallam “The Lebanese.” As part of his audition Salem described himself this way:
“I’ve been a stylist and designer in Toronto for the past seven years. My stories have been published in the hottest magazines including Zink Magazine, Dress to Kill, Spade, Fantastikmag, and many more. I’ve worked with many high profile photographers such as Josh Cornell, and David Ho for collaborations with BCBG, Herve Lege, Nine West, and Dean Davidson.”
The official site for Lake Shore described Salem as:
Salem is a confident and trendy fashionista who just loves to shine in the spotlight and mingle with the stars! He gets ticked off when he spots anyone with fake brands…or fake egos for that matter. This uncensored designer plans to show the underground creative side Toronto has to offer, breaking more then a couple stereotypes along the way.
Here is Salem’s audition reel in which he discusses in further detail his conquests in the fashion world as well as revealing that he’s a dancer:
Salem seems to be the one cast member who really doesn’t need this show for recognition. From what has been written about him it sounds like “The Lebanese” is already a success. I’ve got a bad feeling that he may get steam rolled by the other cast mates but I hope not. Here is a parting shot of Mr. Moussallam – Toronto fashionista extraordinaire!
