Our friends north of the border are set to launch their own version of Jersey Shore called Lake Shore. The YouTube campaign for the show featuring promos and audition reels has drummed up a tremendous amount of interest that has culminated with the announcement of the final 8 that will comprise the cast of the show.
One of these 8 finalists is 23-year-old Sibel Altug who is also being identified as “The Turk.” As part of her audition process Sibel described herself the following way:
I’ve been through a lot of hard times in my life, but I am standing here today as a young woman, and I’m fully prepared to shine like the star that I was always told I would be. I am strong, intelligent, adventurous, and charismatic. I have a heart of gold, but I only show that towards deserving people. As for the little devils that walk among us, you’ve just met your match!

Sibel is a sharp-tongued party girl who enjoys flirting, drinking, and socializing with the in crowd. She likes to start trouble, and it’s only a matter of time before her housemates get tired of putting her fires out. Beneath her tough exterior, she hides a very sensitive side and is still recovering from a traumatic loss. Will the time in the house help her put the past behind her?

The tag line for Lake Shore is, “The party is about to begin – if only they don’t kill each other first.” If they start killing each other I hope The Turk survives a while because she sure is easy on the eyes!
