Meet Lake Shore’s “The Italian” Joey Violin

Our friends north of the border are set to launch their own version of Jersey Shore called Lake Shore. The YouTube campaign for the show featuring promos and audition reels has drummed up a tremendous amount of interest that has culminated with the announcement of the final 8 that will comprise the cast of the show.

One of the 8 finalists is The Situation’s Canadian doppelganger Joey Violin who is also being identified as “The Italian.”  As part of his audition process for the show the 21-year-old Violin described himself this way:

Things I cherish in life are partying, women, booze, and music! I am the party, and everyone around me knows it! Everyone loves me, and if you don’t, then you’re just jealous. I’m a full blooded, hard working, hot-headed Italian, and I’m damn proud! When I walk in the club, it will be banging. When I hit that dance floor, it gets intense. Bros, watch your hoes. I might get crazy!

The official site for Lake Shore describes Joey as:

Joey is a proud 21 year old, who loves to flash his hot Italian abs every chance he gets! Working hard as a construction worker by day, he doesn’t miss any opportunity to tear up the party scene by night, often forgetting he has to wake up at 5 am the next day. Joey can be a sensitive romantic guy too, who shies away from conflict and tension. How will he handle all the Lake Shore drama?

Here is the construction worker’s audition reel in which he reveals among other things that he doesn’t like Portuguese people and that he likes to dance.  He sounds so interesting:

There doesn’t appear to be much substance to our man Violin but who cares with the abs he’s toting.  He’s a Situation wannabe with said six-pack, even going so far as doing that hair engraving thing.  You don’t freakin’ believe me there palzoni?  Wells here it is!

It looks like every young woman’s Saturday night turned Sunday morning mistake knows no national boundaries.
