Starcasm has received notification that the multitalented Costa Rican sensation Debi Nova is set to release her debut album Luna Nueva April 13! The anticipation is high for this six-time Grammy nominated artist. From what we can see and hear it certainly seems like the anticipation is warranted!
For those who are not yet familiar with Debi Nova she’s a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, and more). She has toured with Ricky Martin and Sergio Mendes as a featured vocalist, having performed for more than 8 million people. Teamed with all of this experience and talent are her stunning looks and disarming demeanor.
Luna Nueva is produced by multi-Grammy nominated Marius de Vries (Madonna, Josh Groban) and Gustavo Santaolalla (“Brokeback Mountain,” “Babel”). The debut single is the soca/hip-hop inspired “Drummer Boy.”
We’ll be keeping an eye on Debi Nova, which, as you can see, is not such a bad way to spend your time.
