Around his Wisconsin home Tucker the dog is known as Food Burglar for his habit of “borrowing” deliciousness that isn’t necessarily his. A recent upheaval revealed that ol’ Tuck had more than just stolen treats stowed away in his pup belly!
A couple of weeks ago Lois Matykowski was enjoying a popsicle when she realized that her granddaughter’s cool treat was gone. Tucker was back to his old tricks and had eaten the bad rascal stick and all. Shortly thereafter Tucker’s pooch pouch wasn’t so happy about the deal so it sent the stolen goods right back up where they came from.
A couple of days later 10-year-old Tucker was again sick to his stomach but the results from this hurl were much more surprising for Lois. “And I look in the paper towel and here is my wedding ring. I kid you not. My wedding ring was in Tucker’s puke!”
Turns out that around 5 years ago Lois had lost her diamond wedding ring. She searched everywhere around the house and was devastated when she came up empty-handed.
Lois’ vet said that the popsicle stick might have dislodged the diamond ring from Tucker’s tummy. X-rays revealed that there are no more valuables hidden away in Food Burglar’s thief bag.
Lois is happy to have her ring back and she isn’t mad at Tucker for having kept it with him for a while. “Friends have said, ‘I want a dog that throws up diamonds.’ I mean who doesn’t right?”
