Nearly a million people tuned in for the season premiere of A&E’s new geeky tat show Epic Ink last Wednesday as viewers were introduced to the über-nerdy and über-talented artists at Oregon’s Area 51 Tattoo Studio. Viewers were also introduced to receptionist, and self-proclaimed “Nerdio Translator,” Caroline Russell, who is just nerdy enough and just normal enough to serve as the perfect liaison between inkers and inkees. A&E flies us to Planet Nerd on new tattoo series Epic Ink
