The hip hop world received some sad news Wednesday evening when it was announced Kris Kross rapper Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly died Wednesday afternoon in his hometown of Atlanta at the age of 34. The tragic news comes just a few months after Chris reunited with his Kris Kross partner Chris Smith to kick off the So-So Def 20th Anniversary All-Star Concert at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta on February 23. Rapper Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, who was most famous for being half of the 1990s rap duo Kris Kross, was pronounced dead early this afternoon after he was reportedly found unresponsive in his Atlanta, Georgia home. RIP Mac Daddy.
