It seems like every week there’s some celebrity dealing with racy nude or semi-nude photos hitting the web, usually “leaked” by a hacker, or an ex, or possibly even by the celebrity in question (even though he or she would never admit it), but I don’t think I’ve ever run across a celebrity accidentally posting a nude photo of herself on a social media site!
That’s exactly what The Newsroom actress Alison Pill did earlier today when she posted a rather seductive topless picture of herself stretched out on a bed wearing absolutely nothing from the waist up except a pair of glasses.
Immediately after tweeting the photo, Alison realized her mistake and deleted the tweet, but not before one of her more than 13,000 followers (at the time) managed to pass it along to the rest of the internet. Alison seemed to have a sense of humor about the whole thing as she tweeted, “Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet… Apologies.”
And the 26-year-old actress wasn’t the only one with a sense of humor about the tweet pair of Twitties pic, her fiance Jay Baruchel later tweeted, “My fiancee is an hilarious dork. #imustgladitdidnthappentomefirst” and then, “Smartphones will get ya. CC @msalisonpill #vivaludditism”
Now THAT’S what you call having a great attitude!
So I guess when (or if) someone does this again in the future we should just call it “pilling.”
