Andrea Clevenger of Cheer Perfection sentenced to prison for sexual assault of boy
On Thursday an Arkansas mom who appeared on TLC’s reality show Cheer Perfection was sentenced to prison for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old family friend.
Andrea Clevenger pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree sexual assault as well as engaging a child in sexually explicit conduct in an agreement with prosecutors. She plead not guilty to an initial charge of rape.
According to court documents obtained by THV11, Clevenger was sentenced to two 10-year prison sentences and two 10-year suspended sentences. In addition she was issued a no contact order and was ordered to register as a sex offender.
The 34-year-old was arrested in January after allegations that she had numerous sexual encounters with the young boy in her home as well as in her car. When interviewed, the victim told police that she had sent several pornographic images and nude photos of herself to his cell phone. The investigators later confirmed these claims stating that the phone had, “numerous images of females in various states of undress.”
Clevenger was the Team Mom President for Cheer Time Revolution and had a highly visable role during her appearances on Cheer Perfection.
THV11 stated that it was unsure if the two sentences would run concurrently or consecutively. Multiple other reports have stated that her sentence is for 10 years which would indicate the former.
