A teaser clip has surfaced online giving viewers the first look at Outkast’s Andre 3000 as Jimi Hendrix in the biopic All is By My Side.
In the following clip Andre is at a bar having a conversation with Imogen Poots (Linda Keith) as the two hint around at running away together behind his girlfriend’s back.
The film, written and directed by Ridley Scott, is set for a U.S. premiere on Wednesday at SXSW.
Andre has said he, “listened to hours of Hendrix interviews – watched films – watched his mannerisms,” to prepare for the role.
