Nashville star Hayden Panettiere has ended the speculation about the status of her relationship with Wladimir Klitschko by confirming her engagement.
The 24-year-old said she said “yes” to world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko during her appearance this morning on Live With Kelly and Michael.
The actress walked out on set with a large boa constrictor around her neck in hopes of frightening host Michael Strahan, but Kelly Ripa was much more concerned with the bling on her ring finger.
Kelly: “I’m sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there’s a very large diamond ring on your ring finger. … I’m not sure if you want to announce anything. … Does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?”
Hayden: “It might be … I mean, I think it speaks for itself.”
Kelly: “Are you engaged?”
Hayden: “I am.”
Up until this morning, the couple had remained mum about the status of their on-again, off-again relationship. They previously dated for two years and then split in May 2011. The pair reconciled and have been seen out together numerous times with rumors of a pending wedding surfacing in March.
