Kris Jenner bribes columnist in an attempt to reverse her talk show misfortune

Kris Jenner Talk Show Flop
Kris Jenner’s new reality show certainly made a splash when it premiered last week. Unfortunately for Kris, it was more of a belly-flop than swan dive.

Adding to the sting of the low ratings was a particularly biting review from New York Post columnist Linda Stasi.

“It was immediately apparent that Jenner, the Mother of All Relentless Self-Promoters, has as much business with a talk show as her big, talentless bore-of-a-daughter, Khloe, had co-hosting a talent show like The X Factor,” Linda wrote the day after the show’s premiere.

After Kris caught wind of the negative press, she didn’t exactly crawl into a hole and refuse to come out… Although what she did was arguably worse in terms of professional image: She sent a Tiffany’s pen and a dozen Magnolia cupcakes to the critic.

Attached to the $325 pen was a note from Kris that read: “Dear Linda, Sorry you didn’t like the show. I’m still a huge fan of your column. Love and blessings, Kris. P.S. When you think I’ve improved, maybe you will write a better REVIEW with this!”

As most people would, Linda defended herself against the implication that she could be bought with an extravagant office supply and cupcakes.

Now that the Kris’ bribery attempt is out in the open, do you think her show stands any chance at living past its six-week trial period? (I say no, but might “change my mind” if Kris wants to send me a Tiffany’s pen and cupcakes. Guess I don’t have as much moral fortitude as Linda!)
