FOX has released some new casting information for the upcoming 4th season of Glee. One of the new featured performers is Jacob Artist who will play Jake Puckerman.
2012 Melissa & Joey (TV series)
2012 Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (TV movie)
2012 How to Rock (TV series)
2011 Bucket and Skinner’s Epic Adventures (TV series)
According to the presser released by FOX Jacob will be portraying Jake Puckerman. Jake will be the bad boy younger half-brother of the popular character, Puck, played by Mark Salling.
In the season opener Jacob’s character tries out for the Glee club but it’s hinted that his attitude will present some problems. Attractive bad boy having run-ins with Glee rules? Sounds like a winning formula.
Jacob grew up in New York and graduated with honors from Williamsville South High School.
Just to show that Jacob is capable of a photographic range other than brooding, here is a hilarious pic he posted to his Twitter feed. Maybe he could wear this during a version of Bieber’s “Baby?”
I just KNOW that photo is going to make some Gleeks squeeeeeeee with joy. Here was Jacob tweeting out his excitement following the official news that he had been cast for Glee.
How about a video clip so you can get a taste of some of Jacob’s acting chops? This comes from Nickelodeon and their show How to Rock. He is the only one of the lead, Kacey’s, love interests to appear in more than one episode.
Now I know why they call my man “Artist.” I keed, I keed! Let’s take another look at Jacob. This was the photo he had as his lead image for his Twitter account (nice):
And just to show that we go the extra mile, here is a cap of Jacob in the Lifetime film Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. It wasn’t easy but I do say thanks to YouTuber, GiveMeUrHeart1231, who was moved enough to upload the entire film in HD!
We like your big lumber Jacob Artist! Season 4 of Glee comes back to TV on September 13th. See you and Jacob then.
