PHOTOS Rizzoli & Isles’ Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander & more at TNT 25th Birthday Bash

TNT held its 25th Birthday Bash Wednesday night at The Beverly Hilton Hotel with a huge roster of stars in attendance including Conan O’Brien, Heather Locklear, Noah Wyle, Jordana Brewster, and Lina Gray. But, in this humble blogger’s opinion, the ladies of the smash hit crime drama Rizzoli and Isles Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander (above) stole the show!

Angie Harmon was superheroinesque in her ferocious black leather dress from the Azede Jean-Pierre Fall 2013 Collection with Jimmy Choo “Lance” silver metallic sandals. Finishing off the look was a downright dangerous Christian Loboutin spiked clutch!

It’s rare you see a handbag that requires a permit to carry! (A heartfelt shoutout to the diligent design divas at The Fashionista Stories blog for identifying pretty much everything Angie Harmon had on!)

Sasha Alexander went a little less ferocious and a little more fun with her dark blue, black and white patterned dress:

Sasha and Angie weren’t the only Rizzoli & Isles cast members representin’ at the TCA shindig, however. Lorraine Bracco (who plays Jane Rizzoli’s protective mom Angela Rizzoli on the show, and who also played Dr. Melfi on The Sopranos, which was recently named the best written show ever by the Writers Guild of America and TV Guide, and also happens to be one of my favorite shows of all time… but I digress) was also in attendance:

Angie Harmon tweeted that she was late arriving to the party, so I’m guessing that’s why we didn’t get the Rizzoli & Isles actress trifecta photo op 🙁 But, Angie’s on-screen brother Francesco “Frankie” Rizzoli, Jr. was in attendance (and on time) in the form of actor Jordan Bridges, who also posed with the easy-to-pose-with Sasha wearing a suave dark gray striped jacket:

I want to take this opportunity to congratulate TNT on their monumental success as they continue to play a major role in the revolution of the television industry as the paleolithic notion of network-dominated programming continues to crumble and make way for the wonderfully innovative and creatively diverse spectrum of options provided by cable. TNT’s roster of successful shows like Rizzoli & Isles (more than 5 million viewers a week y’all!), Falling Skies and Major Crimes (not to mention their stellar coverage of the NBA!) have helped put the network at the forefront of the cable explosion. Here’s to 25 more years of TNT!
