Jonathan Taylor Thomas (JTT) reunites with sitcom dad Tim Allen
We haven’t heard a lot from 90s’ heartthrob Jonathan Taylor Thomas (or “JTT” to Tiger Beat aficionados,) in the past few years, but he’s going to reunite with his sitcom dad Tim Allen on Allen’s show Last Man Standing March 22. Can you stand it?
JTT played Randy Taylor the middle child of Tim Allen and Patricia Richardson’s Tim and Jill Taylor popular 90s sitcom Home Improvement. After the show ended in 1999, Jonathan attended Harvard, and finished up with a degree from Columbia in 2010 under his legal name Jonathan Taylor Weiss.
In 2011 Jonathan gave an interview to Entertainment Weekly explaining what he’d been up to the in the decade following sitcom fame. The now 31-year-old actor said he’d been going to school, traveling, and reading (sounds like a pretty wonderful life,) but that he still had a passion for television. He told the magazine, “I’d eventually like to work behind the camera. That’s not to say I would never act again, I’m not quite sure to be honest. I still have a passion for TV and film could see myself working in it.”
This appearance may be a sign that may be actively getting back in the entertainment game, possibly on both sides of the camera. What do you think? Are you ready to see more JTT?
